Crop ClinicThese terms are an agreement between you and Crop Clinic ("we", "us") about your use of the Crop Clinic mobile app and this website (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can use Crop Clinic
You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. If you are under 18, you should use it with the permission of a parent or guardian. You must give true and accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
2. Your account
- Keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Tell us straight away at constructlinkzm@gmail.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.
- You can delete your account at any time in the app or on our delete account page.
3. Using the service properly
You agree not to:
- break any law of Zambia or any other law that applies to you;
- try to access other users' data, or interfere with or overload the service;
- copy, reverse engineer or resell the service, except as the law allows;
- upload content that is unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to use;
- use automated tools to scrape or misuse the service.
4. Your content
You own the crop records, notes and photos you add ("your content"). You allow us to store, process and display your content only so that we can provide the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and we do not share it with other users.
5. Farming information and weather
- Guides and tips are general and may not suit every farm, season or variety. Results depend on many things outside our control, such as rainfall, soil, pests, seed and how crops are managed.
- Weather comes from a third-party service and forecasts can be wrong.
- The leaf scanner is an early feature. It may be unavailable or give wrong results and must not be your only basis for treating crops.
You are responsible for decisions you make on your farm. Follow product labels and safety instructions for all fertilizers and chemicals.
6. Third-party services
The service uses third-party providers such as Google Firebase and OpenWeatherMap. Their availability is outside our control, and their own terms may apply.
7. Changes and availability
We are improving Crop Clinic and may add, change or remove features. We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. The service is free, and we may stop offering it; if we do, we will try to give you reasonable notice.
8. Suspending or ending accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk. You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time.
9. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that the information in the service is complete, accurate or suitable for your purpose.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Crop Clinic is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any loss of crops, harvest, income or profit, arising from your use of, or reliance on, the service. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information. Our account deletion policy explains what happens when you delete your account.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app. If you keep using the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Zambia, unless the law where you live gives you other rights.
